Meet the Team

  • Patrick Trepanowski LC, IES

    PRINCIPAL

    Patrick leverages his passions for design, science, and technology to deliver custom outdoor lighting solutions. At Speclines, Patrick believes each project is unique and is committed to using creativity and photometrics analysis to design cost-effective lighting strategies that prioritize pedestrian safety and minimize light pollution. On weekends, Patrick and his wife, along with their dog Wendel, enjoy exploring small towns and great cups of coffee.

  • Jane Slade MID, LC

    PRINCIPAL

    Jane brings a passion to sustainable lighting solutions and is the International Dark-Sky Association’s 2021 Dark Sky Defender for North America as well as the host of the podcast Starving for Darkness, which advocates for sustainable lighting and was accepted into the 2021 Progress Report of the IES. She is also a Richard Kelly Grant recipient for explorations into the social and emotional impacts of light and lighting and a contributor to LD+A on the topic of Wildlife. In her spare time, she is a yoga teacher.

  • Anthony Farnham, LC

    PRINCIPAL

    Anthony enjoys the everchanging lighting field and variety of projects it creates. His passion for building client relationships, and managing supply networks, brings a personable eye for detail to Speclines quotation processes. When away from his desk, Anthony loves the great outdoors and can be found hiking with his wife , son and daughter any given weekend.

  • Mark Forant

    SALES ENGINEER

    Mark is a founder of Speclines and known for developing unequaled solutions by specializing in architectural applications. Mark’s favorite aspect of the business is the relationships he has developed with clients and manufacturers over the past 30 years in outdoor lighting sales. When Mark breaks away from the office, you can find him spending time with his family or restoring old VW buses and Norton motorcycles in his garage.

  • Paul Mellor

    SALES ENGINEER

    Paul is a founder of Speclines and has proudly served the lighting and electrical communities of New England for over 30 years, specializing in municipal street lighting applications. Paul is a devoted husband and the father of three great children. In his spare time, Paul enjoys a good afternoon on his boat and is rumored to be quite the fisherman.

  • Laura Cushing

    PROJECT COORDINATOR

    Laura’s background in construction administration and her dedication to client-centric project management infuses open communication and transparency to each project she coordinates. Outside of the office, Laura enjoys weekend getaways exploring new places and hiking with her husband and their two dogs.

  • Peter Beane

    NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND SALES CONSULTANT

    Peter enjoys identifying each client’s unique lighting needs and providing the right solution. His ultimate gratification comes from seeing the finalized installation, and knowing he was able to help a client achieve their lighting goals. Outside of work, Peter enjoys spending time with his family, coaching baseball and basketball and riding his motorcycle.

  • Paul Finbow

    SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND SALES CONSULTANT

    Paul Finbow celebrates 35 years in the lighting industry, with significant contributions to energy conservation and light pollution reduction. His pet peeve is lighting left on during daytime hours, which he sees as potentially the cheapest energy conservation target available, requiring only increased attention. Paul relieves his frustration over these issues by playing drums, tennis, and soccer.
